How to prepare for a junk removal pickup
You do not have to do much. A few minutes of preparation gets you an accurate quote and a faster visit.
Before you call
- Decide what goes. Walk through and point out or mark the items. Anything not marked stays.
- Set aside what you are keeping. Once something is on the truck, it cannot come back.
- Check pockets and drawers. Papers, keys, jewelry and photos hide in furniture.
- Take photos. A few pictures of the items and the space let us quote faster.
What to tell us
- What the items are and roughly how many
- Where they are: curb, garage, inside the house, upstairs or in a backyard
- Stairs, gates, narrow doors or long carries
- Anything heavy, like a hot tub, piano or appliance
- Your timeline, if it is urgent or tied to a closing or move-out
On the day
- Clear a path from the items to the door or driveway.
- Move cars so the truck and trailer can get close.
- Secure pets in another room.
- Be there to point out what goes, or arrange access with us ahead of time.
What not to worry about
You do not need to carry anything, bag it up or sort it into piles. Our crew does the lifting and loading. Just keep hazardous items, such as paint and chemicals, separate, since we cannot haul them.
Getting a quote
Pricing depends on volume, item types, labor and access. Call or text us, or request a quote online. We quote before we start. For typical cost factors, see our pricing guide.

Common questions
Do I need to be home during the pickup?
Someone should be there to point out what goes, unless you have arranged access with us in advance.
Do I have to move things to the curb?
No. We can haul from inside the home, garage or yard.
Can I send photos instead of describing everything?
Yes. Photos help us give you a faster, more accurate quote.
